DESCRIPTION:Who is the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center (HICLC)?\nOur mission is to grow our students into Christ-like\, lifelong learners and responsible\ncitizens through after school programs focusing on Biblical knowledge\, mentoring and\nacademic support. \nWhat is the Give it Back Track?\nGive it Back Track is a sanctioned 5K and a 1-mile Fun Run for all ages created to\nteach our students philanthropy and fitness. \nWhen is the registration deadline and what is the cost?\nRegistration for the 2022 Give It Back Track 5K ($20) or the 1-mile Fun Run ($15)\ncloses on 5/4. T-Shirt size is not guaranteed after 4/15. Register at\nhttps://runsignup.com/Race/AL/Huntsville/GiveItBackTrack5K or using the QR code \nWhy are we running?\nIn order to teach the importance of giving back to the community\, HICLC students\nselect the recipient of the race proceeds. This year\, proceeds from the race will benefit\nNew Futures\, Inc\, the only nonprofit homeless shelter for families in Huntsville. \nHow can I get involved other than running in the race?\nWe are looking for individuals\, families and groups to get involved: \nSponsor an HICLC student runner (including any or all of the following):\n\nPay for race registration\nProvide encouragement during training\nBe a Running Buddy (register for the race and run with the student)\nProvide new running shoes\nCheer them on during the race\n\nVolunteer:\n\nHelp with race set-up or clean up\nAssemble/distribute registration packets\nAssemble/distribute food bags or donate\nOperate a water stations\nServe in the first aid station\nBe a race monitor\nWork the finish line\nJoin the prayer team\n\nContact admin@hiclc.org for more information on getting involved.

DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to the 2nd annual Non Profit Lip Sync Battle on October 3\, 2019 at the Campus 805. If last year is an indicator….you are going to have a blast! Doors open at 5:30 pm and we should wrap up at 9:00 pm.\nYou are invited to participate\, attend and bring your friends! This is a family friendly\, community wide nonprofit fundraiser. Funds raised will be distributed between participating nonprofit agencies. This year\, there is a $25 registration fee per performing group. You do NOT have to be a nonprofit to perform\, however. We invite any everyone to participate! Tickets are $10 for attendees (kids 10 and under are admitted free). There will be food for purchase at the venue as well as a cash bar.
